Every birth is special. Whether it takes place at the hospital or at home, C-section or vaginal birth, each is beautiful and deserving of celebration. No matter how you birth your baby, everyone can have the support of a doula.
What is a doula?A person who provides emotional,physical,and informational support to the mother and her partner/family.

How I Got Here

As a wife and mother of 6 and expecting our seventh child,I know the importance of support and feeling safe during pregnancy and child birth.My journey to becoming a mother also paved the way for my love of helping other Mothers be informed ,confident and, supported during their pregnancy,birth,and first leap into motherhood.

How I Assist

Birth Services

As your doula I will offer emotional,physical and informational support tailored to you and your partners needs in the weeks leading up to birth,during birth,and in those first weeks settling as new parents and breasts feeding.I am available for you by phone/email anytime you are concerned or have questions.

Prenatal Class

I offer group classes as well as one on one classes personally tailored to your needs and experiences and what you are wanting to achieve during your birth and personally addressing your specific concerns.

Lactation & Newborn Support

After baby is born there is so much we are often met with.In addition to you support following birth I offer hourly rates for additional drop in support if you come up against challenges you need guidance in.

Remember this, for it is as true as true gets: Your body is not a lemon. You are not a machine. The Creator is not a careless mechanic. Human female bodies have the same potential to give birth well as aardvarks, lions, rhinoceri, elephants, moose, and water buffalo. Even if it has not been your habit throughout your life so far, I recommend that you learn to think positively about your body.
